What do you get when you take nearly 800 Corgis and put them on a beach together? The unofficial answer: Heaven on Earth. The official answer: Corgi Con.

That’s right—approximately 800 short-legged lovable creatures gathered on a beach in San Francisco to celebrate, well, just being them, and the outcome was completely adorable. I’d definitely say the event was a success because honestly, with this many Corgis on a beach, what could have possibly gone wrong?

If you’re bummed you missed it, don’t worry. Corgi Con is a semiannual event, and the next one is scheduled for October. So, start making your travel accommodations now.

The fundraising event is full of fun in the sun, photo ops, a costume contest and so much Corgi love. All proceeds of merchandise purchased at the event go to two different rescue groups, Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue and Corgi Aid, according to Mashable.
