Be A Little More Organized With This Fun And Easy DIY Weekly Meal Planner
If you have a busy family, try making one of these easy weekly meal planners. What’s so great about this planner is you can repurpose an old frame and customize the colors to match your kitchen.
Every week before we go to the grocery store, my husband and I decide what we want eat and write it on the board. This helps us stay on track with our budget and not buy too much at the store. After the week is over, we simply wipe down the board with a paper towel and start again.
Materials Needed
- 12×12″ picture frame
- 12×12″ patterned scrapbook paper
- Dry erase marker
- Sticky letters
DIY Instructions
- Arrange sticky letters on the 12×12 scrap paper*
- Menu (top center)
- All 7 days of the week
- Insert paper into the frame
- Write your meals for the week
- Erase & reuse weekly
*Pro tip: To help ensure your “menu” is centered, make a little mark at the top middle of the paper with a pencil. When laying down the sticky letters for the word, “Menu,” start by evenly placing the “e” and “n” on either side of the mark you made at the top of the paper. Then work your way outwards.
*Pro tip: So the days of the week are evenly spaced on the page, use a ruler and pencil to also mark where you want to place your days of the week before you start.

D – 8
E – 3
H – 1
