The ‘Full House’ Home Is Off The Market, And You’ll Never Guess Who Bought It

Have mercy! The iconic home from “Full House” is officially off the market. It was purchased back in August, according to Yahoo News, but there was no word on who the actual buyer was—until now.

You’ll be happy to know that the home is still very much in the “Full House” family. The creator of the show, Jeff Franklin, is the man who swooped this property, worth more than $4 million, off of the market.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Franklin said he couldn’t pass up the chance to own the iconic home.

“The house came on the market and really, I just thought, I have to buy this house. I’m so sentimental about the house. It’s great to have the house in our ‘Full House’ family and be able to preserve it for the fans.”

Despite the home not looking quite so much like the house from the show anymore [see more pictures here], Franklin told the publication that fans still line up in front of the house to take pictures each and every day. Because it’s hard to let go of something so good, isn’t it? Clearly, Franklin agrees!

Apparently, he’s already repainted the door a bright red color, just like it was in the show, and plans to make some other renovations as well. Perhaps most excitingly, Franklin plans to use the home for the filming of “Fuller House.”

The fact that the show got a re-boot was special enough. But knowing that it’ll be filmed in the exact same location, all of these years later, well, that really takes the sentimental value to the next level.

I’ll sleep easy knowing that Bob Saget, John Stamos and the gang are back in their rightful place, the original San Francisco home where the magic first took place. Now, we can be reminded of the ’90s hit everywhere we look (you remember the theme song!) in the 2016 version, too!
