Goodbye Graham Crackers, Hello Biscuit S’mores

Sugar and Charm

If you thought s’mores were limited to nights around a campfire, think again.

Now you can make this tasty treat—with a twist—in the comfort of your own kitchen. It’s dreamy.

Toss out that old box of graham crackers because this recipe calls for something even more delicious: Biscuits.

That’s right. Chocolate chip s’mores biscuits are about to become your go-to dessert for weekends, holidays and pretty much any night of the week.

Consider adding this recipe to your holiday sweets wheelhouse—your party guests will thank you, as soon as they lick the sticky marshmallow and chocolate off their hands.

You can make your own biscuit mix. Or, if you don’t have the time for that, consider using a pre-made box mix like Eden Passante, who runs the blog Sugar and Charm.

“With some added chocolate chips and then a giant marshmallow stuffed in-between, these delicious chocolate chip biscuit s’mores will be your favorite treat!” Passante wrote.

No argument there. We’ll probably never be able to go back regular s’mores after tasting these.

Here’s what you’ll to make these ooey-gooey treats.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of biscuit mix
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 ½ bags of milk chocolate chips
  • 8 large marshmallows

Get the assembly instructions on Sugar and Charm.

If chocolate chips aren’t your thing, Karlynn Johnston at The Kitchen Magpie makes her biscuit s’mores using chocolate truffles. She stacks a truffle and marshmallow in between two biscuits rather than mixing the chocolate into the biscuit mix. Mmmm.
