The ‘Harry Potter’ Movies Are Returning To IMAX Theaters

Warner Bros.

As if you weren’t already excited enough to see the Potter spin-off/prequel film “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” starting Nov. 18, this promotion should definitely have you in the movie-going mood.

Starting Oct. 13, all eight Harry Potter movies will be screening in IMAX. Now, this will only last for one week. So you better be prepared to cast your spells and get your hands on some tickets, as soon as possible!

This reportedly marks the first time that the first two “Harry Potter” movies have ever been shown in an IMAX theater. So, even if you’ve seen these movies millions of times, this experience is sure to be different. Not that you cared! Because these films are special each and every time you watch them, after all.

According to Variety, there will be a never-before-seen reel of “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” shown at these screenings. And there will also be celebrity appearances, a live Q&A at two locations (London and Los Angeles).

The publication reports that there are four different types of tickets available for purchase. There’s a single ticket. Then, there’s day access (admittance to three or more shows in a single day), four-show access (admittance to four shows any time, any day), and the ultimate one: festival access (unlimited admittance throughout the event). Let’s be honest here, that’s the one you gotta have!

So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and cancel your plans for the week of Oct. 13. You’ve got some Potter movies to see!
