Saving money is important, but a lot of us just put it off as the last thing on a long to-do list. A lot of personal finance advice starts out with making tedious budgets and let’s be truthful, no one really has time for all that.

But there’s a better way.

I read and re-read his book a few years ago and I can testify that a lot of the steps in his book (and this chart) work like a charm. Keep in mind though that this works better the earlier/younger you start because of compound interest.
