A Live Action Version Of ‘The Little Mermaid’ Could Be On Its Way

There’s been a lot going on to excite the kid in you lately. What, with The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast being made into live-action films, it’s likely been hard to contain yourself. These films give you the perfect reason to go to the movies (with your kids or no) because these really are for everyone.

Age does not matter here. And if you thought those movies were amazing enough, there’s about to be a whole new world of excitement opened up to you. According to Hello Giggles, Disney could be producing a live-action version of The Little Mermaid.

Yes, that’s right. Ariel, Sebastian and the gang could be coming to a theater near you again.

If you didn’t already know, Working Title and Universal are already set to produce a live-action version of this movie, as well. Chole Grace Moretz is set to play Ariel, so, there’s a lot for you to be happy about when it comes to this remake.

Whether Disney follows through with this or no, there will be another version of The Little Mermaid in your future.

But, when it comes to remakes of this Disney classic— the more the merrier. So, bring it on Disney, Ariel fans are more than ready for what you’ve got in store! We’ve been dying to discover life under the sea with Ariel again since we were kids, after all.
