McDonald’s Funfetti Holiday Pies Are Here For A Limited Time

There’s a lot to look forward to during the holiday season, and the seasonal menu items definitely make the top of the list. I mean, with the Starbucks Red Cups, Hot Cocoa Oreos and now even McDonald’s stepping up its dessert game — there’s officially no reason not to absolutely adore this time of year.

As Brand Eating points out, McDonald’s will be bringing back its Holiday Pie this year. This menu item is in addition to the amazingly warm and flaky Apple Pie the restaurant chain serves as well as those delicious candy-filled McFlurries.

This pie is extra special, though, mainly because of its limited edition status. As Thrillist mentions, it’s also super affordable, coming in at 89 cents. So, for less that $1, you’re getting an incredibly delicious festive treat.

According to the McDonald’s website, the Holiday Pie has a vanilla custard filling wrapped in a buttery crust that’s topped with a sugar glaze and—‚the best part of all—rainbow sprinkles.

It reminds me of the sugar cookies we’ll all be making with our families this year, but this recipe takes it a step further. Add vanilla custard inside. and it’s seriously game over.

Brand Eating notes, unfortunately, this pie will only be available at participating McDonald’s locations, and the McDonald’s website confirms it. Thrillist points out that you’ll be able to find this item if you live in Florida, Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts, Southern California, or Texas.

So, if you’re in one of those areas, you might want to hop in your car right now and take advantage of this limited-time holiday offer. Grab yourself some All Day Breakfast while you’re at it.
