Michelin Releases New Tire That Won’t Ever Go Flat

Flats, spare tires and patch kits may soon be a thing of the past for vehicles. Michelin recently unveiled it’s newest baby in tire technology: the X Tweel Turf tire.

Because it doesn’t need air like a standard tire, it cannot pop. And because of its specially designed spokes, shock is better absorbed, reducing bounce.

While it’s currently only available on a John Deere Mower, be on the lookout for more tires designed like this in the future. If you’re a commercial mover (or just really love moving your grass) this may be just the tire you’re looking for.
