What Would Halloween Be Without Epic Costumes From Neil Patrick Harris And His Family?
In Hollywood, wearing costumes is a way of life if you’re “in the business.” Neil Patrick Harris has some experience in the world of show business, so it’s no surprise that he and his family go all-out for Halloween. Harris and his husband, David Burtka, and their now 6-year-old kids, Gideon and Harper, have been raising the bar on Halloween costumes since 2011.
In case you’re just tuning into the amazingness that is NPH’s family Halloween costumes, here’s a look back at the last several years of next-level costumes from NPH and family:
2011
Back in 2011, NPH and family dressed as Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, John Darling and, of course, Captain Hook.
2012
The next year, NPH and clan dressed up in “The Wizard of Oz”-themed attire, complete with a Tin Man, Lion, Scarecrow and Dorothy.
2013
The family got so into the Halloween spirit in 2013 that they had two different costumes.
How cute are Harris and Burtka as Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum? Alice and the White Rabbit are pretty adorable, too!

2014
In 2014, the family went with a crime-fighting Batman theme. The Joker, The Riddler, Batman and Batgirl were all present and accounted for.

2016
Last year’s costumes channeled old Hollywood, with the family dressed as Marilyn Monroe, Groucho Marx, Charlie Chaplin and James Dean.

2017
