Starbucks’ Holiday Menu And New Green Cup Are Here

Now that trick-or-treating is out of the way, the countdown to Christmas can really begin. It’s the first of November and you know what that means? It’s the day you’ve been waiting for all year.

That’s right, you can now sip on a little cheer because Starbucks has just released its lineup of holiday beverages. The favorites are back. There’s Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Gingerbread Latte, Eggnog Latte and Peppermint Latte. So, yep, the gang’s all here!

There’s also a festive green cup to go with these lattes. Don’t worry, the red cups you know and love are rumored to still come back. People magazine even reports you’ll see them as early as Nov. 3.

But, in the meantime, you’ll be sipping from a bright green cup that is supposed to symbolize unity, according to Refinery29.

“The green cup and the design represent the connections Starbucks has as a community with its partners (employees) and customers. During a divisive time in our country, Starbucks wanted to create a symbol of unity as a reminder of our shared values, and the need to be good to each other,” stated Howard Schultz, chairman and CEO in a press release.

The green design is made up of the outline of different people, coming together to form one overall image. There’s nothing wrong with promoting togetherness during the holiday season. So, bring on the heightened sense of community—one Starbucks latte at a time.

Meanwhile, there’s still time for you to pick up a Pumpkin Spice Latte, so you better get your fill of the flavor while fall lasts. Pretty soon, you’ll be adding peppermint to everything, so make sure you’re good and ready to make that transition.

Although, it is Nov. 1, after all. Maybe just one holiday latte before you go into complete holiday mode won’t hurt. The coffee options are now available, so really, the choice is up to you.
