Starbucks’ Valentine’s Day-Inspired Drinks Are Laden With Molten Chocolate

Valentine’s Day calls for one thing—lots and lots of chocolate. No matter how old you get, receiving an extra bit of chocolate on the Day of Love will make your heart throb. The good news is, regardless of how you’re spending Valentine’s Day, you can now incorporate a little extra bit of cocoa into your day—starting first thing in the morning, if you are so inclined!

That’s right, leading up to February 14, you can have a little chocolate-y goodness with your morning cup of coffee, too. Starbucks is bringing back three molten chocolate flavors, just in time for your celebration of love. Because seriously, what do you love more than chocolate.

Apparently, these drinks came about last year around Valentine’s Day, and they were so good, they had to make a comeback.

According to a press release on the Starbucks website, these drink options will be available February 8-14 only. There are three different cocoa-filled beverages to choose from—but get ready to start developing a very unique and special crush on each one of them.

First up to steal your heart is the Molten Chocolate Latte. It takes chocolate chips and melts them into espresso. Then, steamed milk and mocha sauce is added. Last, but certainly not least, it’s topped with whipped cream.

Next up is the Molten Chocolate Frappuccino. Mocha sauce and chocolate chips are blended with coffee and ice to create this frozen concoction. Then, as if that isn’t enough to send you into chocolate overload, it’s topped with a mocha-infused whipped cream. Prepare to fall in love!

Finally, there’s the Molten Hot Chocolate, which is even more smooth, creamy and chocolate-y than your average hot cocoa. Again, it has the special mocha sauce, melted chocolate chips and espresso-infused whipped cream topping.

Who needs flowers and “Be Mine” cards when Starbucks is offering up drink selections this swoon-worthy? Stop by your local Starbucks between now and February 14 because if you do, you’re in for a treat!
