The First Taco Bell To Serve Alcohol Opens Today

How often have you craved a beer or other adult beverage while enjoying your Cheesy Gordita Crunch?  Well Taco Bell has finally delivered. Taco Bell had a soft opening of its “Taco Bell Cantina” concept today in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. It won’t officially open until later this month.

The new drink menu includes beer, wine, and speciality drinks.  Some of the speciality drinks include the Mountain Dew Baja Blast, Cantina Punch and Cantina Margarita freezes, which can be spiked with rum, vodka or tequila.  The rum and vodka-spiked drinks will sell for $6.19 plus tax, while the freezes will set you back $7.19.

This comes right on the heels of Target announcing that it will serve booze to shoppers in Chicago.

So what the heck is going on in Chicago? Sounds like a roadtrip is in order!
