5 Weird Thoughts That Every Introvert Has Before Going Out

Why would anyone choose to be around people when they could just be by themselves? I know I’m perfectly fine with a night in— in fact, I don’t know that I’d ever leave the house if I didn’t I absolutely have to.

If you share those same feelings, then you’re definitely introverted. And you know just as much as I do that the struggle is really real when it comes to wanting to surround yourself with people you know, let alone, strangers (gasp!).

If you’re reading this alone in your house (to take a break from cat videos), then you’ll definitely relate to these 5 thoughts that every introvert has. You’ve likely been through this exact thought process tonight, I’d be willing to bet.

1. “I Hope No One Invites Me To Do Anything Tonight.”

You don’t want to disappoint anyone, but you’d rather just be alone on your couch, am I right?

2. “I Made Plans For Tonight, But I Kind Of Hope They Cancel.”

Even when you do make plans, you’re secretly hoping the other party will cancel so that you don’t have to come up with an excuse not to go.

3. “They Haven’t Canceled Yet. How Do I Get Out Of This?”

If they don’t cancel, then you’re left going through your list of excuses to see which one you haven’t used in a while. It’s nice to mix it up, you know?

4. “The Most Interaction I’ve Had Is With The Pizza Delivery Guy.”

It’s always a good week when the most talking you’ve done has been with the pizza delivery guy. Because it’s worth going through that for pizza, after all.

5. “No Pants Is Better Than Pants.”

Is it a crime to just want to sit around in your underwear? I think not!
