Summer is officially here and if you’re thinking of heading to a beach, it helps to know the best beaches in the US, according to beach-goers who have already been there.

Of course, everyone has their own idea of what makes a great beach. With that in mind, TripAdvisor has compiled a list of the best beaches in the US for 2021, taking both quality and quantity into consideration when it came to beach reviews.

TripAdvisor’s list took a look at the 25 best beaches in the US, and we’re listing the top 10 of those. Here they are:

10. Kailua Beach Park in Kailua, Hawaii

Kailua Beach Park is located on the easterly shoreline in Oahu, where the ocean waters are a turquoise blue color and the sand is soft and white. Kite surfers enjoy the area because of the wind and you’ll also find a natural rock sea wall called Flat Island, which stretches about 100 yards into the ocean. When you need some time out of the sun, you can head to the Kalapawai Market, which offers take-out lunches, coffee, wine and everything else you’d need for a day at one of the best beaches in the US.

6. Napili Beach in Lahaina, Hawaii

A less crowded, low-key resort beach, Napili Beach in Maui, Hawaii is more basic than some other resorts, and therefore also less expensive. Sea turtles are often seen in the area and snorkeling is a common activity when the water is serene.
