10 boozy drinks to keep you warm this winter

When it’s cold out, you’re going to need all of the help you can get in the kitchen to stay warm. Cider and hot cocoa are staples during cold weather, why not spike them so that you can accomplish two things with your winter drinks: stay toasty and stay tipsy. Now, that doesn’t sound like such a bad idea to me!

Give these 10 boozy cocktails a try throughout anytime the temperature drops.  They will impress your guests at all of the holiday parties and/or make a nice Netflix and popcorn accompaniment. They’re really perfect no matter the occasion. Cheers!

1. Earl Grey Hot Toddy

Tea, lemon and bourbon make quite the soothing combination in this warm cocktail. Get the recipe.

2. Butterbeer

Pumpkin ale and butterscotch sauce combine for one perfectly fall-flavored beverage. Get the recipe.

3. Hot Pumpkin Buttered Rum

This is like hot pumpkin pie, except for it’s, you know, served in a glass. Get the recipe.

4. RumChata Pumpkin Spice Latte

5. Kahlua Hot Chocolate
