Think you know your favorite movies inside and out? Think again! Many of our favorite films have funny, sweet, heartwarming and sometimes just downright bizarre moments that ended up on the cutting room floor.

Check out the list below for some of the most shocking deleted scenes from Hollywood classics:

1. ‘The Lion King’

Here is an utterly creepy scene that was cut from the Disney animated classic “The Lion King.” We always knew that Scar (Jeremy Irons) was a vicious and bloodthirsty character, but in this original version of “Be Prepared,” we find out that he was also trying to make young Nala his queen. That helps to explain why Nala was banished from the Pride Lands when she eventually finds Simba, but it’s easy to see why that story line (Scar trying to pressure Nala into a relationship) was deemed a bit too adult for kids.

2. ‘Mean Girls’

This cult-classic comedy will soon come to life on Broadway, but here’s something fans may not know: There is a funny deleted scene from the film that explains why Regina George never realized that Cady was making her gain weight with her “special weight-loss bars.” Bonus: It starts out with a hilarious moment between Tina Fey and Tim Meadows.

3. ‘Fifty Shades Darker’

The final installment of the “Fifty Shades” series will be released on Feb. 9, but there’s a deleted scene from the second film, “Fifty Shades Darker,” which can tide you fans over until then. It’s an intimate moment between Christian and Ana in bed, in which he pleads with her to “Never leave me.” It’s rare to see a softer side of the dominant Christian, so enjoy!

4. ‘Jurassic World’

Here’s a scene from the 2015 remake of “Jurassic Park.” As fans of the film know, Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt play Claire and Owen, who can’t stand each other…yet also have intense sexual tension. Well, in this deleted scene, we see that sexual tension play out in the WEIRDEST way as Owen stares lustily after Claire as she smooths dino poop all over her body. OK, I can kinda see why this scene was deleted.

5. ‘The Wizard Of Oz’

Most of us have seen the Hollywood classic, “The Wizard of Oz,” countless times. However, this deleted scene is one that not many people know about. It’s a comedic bit in which Ray Bolger (The Scarecrow) dances and even flies in the air after being hit by a giant pumpkin. Watch it below:

6. ‘The Breakfast Club’

This John Hughes cult fave from 1985 is an unforgettable part of many of our childhoods. However, there’s a deleted scene that you’ve probably never seen. It’s a clip that was cut from the original release, which shows grouchy study hall monitor Richard Vernon (played by Paul Gleason) trying to get a soda from a soda machine. We even get to see Claire warming up to Allison, saying, “She’s nuts, but she’s cool.”

7. ‘Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince’

The accomplished British actor Alan Rickman passed away in 2016, but in this deleted scene from “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” we can see Rickman’s formidable talent come to light in a simple, beautiful way. The deleted scene shows Snape struggling with the decision to kill Dumbledore, and between the choir, the cinematography and Rickman’s restrained but gorgeous acting, it’s truly a shame this got cut:

8. ‘Independence Day’

The 1996 blockbuster “Independence Day” was a terrifying thrill ride that helped make Will Smith a household name. However, Randy Quaid (who played hapless, booze-loving dad Russell) also gained notoriety for his role, in which he ended up becoming the hero and sacrificing himself for his children. In this deleted scene, which you can watch below, the scene plays out a bit differently:

9. ‘Titanic’

Who doesn’t love “Titanic”? The 1997 Oscar-Winning film has been analyzed many times over by eagle-eyed fans who want to know why Jack couldn’t just climb on that door with Rose. Here’s a deleted scene you don’t want to miss. This is what would have happened if Brock had come across the elderly Rose when she was about to toss the Heart of the Ocean overboard:

10. ‘The Devil Wears Prada’

Meryl Streep embodied the fashionable ice queen Miranda Priestly to a tee in the film “The Devil Wears Prada.” But in this deleted scene, we see a softer side to Miranda. When her husband arrives at a fete several sheets to the wind and starts insulting important designers, Andy (Anne Hathaway) leaps to the rescue. We see a grateful Miranda mouth the words, “Thank you,” but the scene was cut, perhaps because it didn’t seem in character for the chilly editor-in-chief:

11. ‘Pitch Perfect’

The 2012 comedy helped launch the careers of Rebel Wilson and Anna Kendrick, and it led to two sequels. Here’s a deleted scene from the original “Pitch Perfect,” which parodies that moment in so many Hollywood hits where everyone at a party suddenly starts jumping into the pool:
