There’s nothing more agonizing than spending all day, every day away from your dog while you’re at work.

If only we could all work in pet-friendly offices.

So on the weekends, it’s natural to want to spend every waking minute with your pooch. These 12 pet-friendly stores won’t make you part ways with your dog at the door or leave her in the car while you’re shopping. In fact, many encourage patrons to bring in their pups.

To be on the safe side, you should call the local store of any pet-friendly national retailer just to be sure they are indeed welcoming of dogs.

1. Anthropologie

Good news, fashion lovers! Most Anthropologie stores welcome dogs, according to dog trainer Cesar Millan.

“Shopping with your dog can be a bonding experience, and it can help socialize your dog while boosting her confidence,” according to Millan. “A well-behaved dog in a store can also be a great ambassador for their species or breed.”

When you see Maebel the toy Australian shepherd hanging out by Anthropologie’s coffee cups, you won’t be able to resist taking your own pup.

2. Lowe’s

The surest way to get your dog some extra attention is to take her into Lowe’s, where most employees and other patrons will shower her with love—and sometimes even treats. Skylar the German shepherd sure thinks so!

According to Lowe’s official Facebook page, the company understands that “pets have become an integral part of families and are included in many family activities.” Unfortunately, only service dogs are allowed in Lowe’s stores in Canada.

3&4. Marshalls and TJ Maxx

These discount retailers don’t mind if you take your beloved pet for a ride in one of their shopping carts, as Henry and Penny, two Instagram-famous French bulldogs, can attest. Just be sure to keep a close eye on your dog when you walk down the pet toys aisle.

5. Home Depot

If you’re out running errands and need to stop in for some light bulbs or other supplies, go ahead and bring your pooch inside. There are lots of interesting things to smell at Home Depot, according to Champ the golden retriever.

(Pro tip: If you ever need a pick-me-up, search the #homedepotdogs hashtag on Instagram for a dose of extreme cuteness.)

6. Lush Cosmetics

Not only does Lush let you bring your dog into the store while you’re browsing their extensive selection of bath and beauty products, this company has been fighting against animal testing for more than 30 years. They won’t buy ingredients from manufacturers or suppliers that test their products on animals.

You know your dog wants to be pampered like Cookie Bear and Noodles!

Per Barkpost, Nordstrom is friendly to both little dogs and big dogs. They even invited Petrah the Weimaraner into the dressing room—“Does this leash make me look fat?”

8. Apple Store

The next time you’re shopping for the newest iPhone, bring your pup with you. Apple stores are dog friendly, though they often get crowded, so consider your dog’s temperament first, according to Rover.

Rez doesn’t seem to mind too much.

9. Old Navy

Score great deals AND spend some much-needed quality time with your pup at Old Navy. Your dog may even find a friend like Speckles from Cookies and Clogs did!

10. Tractor Supply Co.

Tractor Supply Co. is so pet-friendly they even wrote about one of their best four-legged customers on their website. Meet Mattie Belle, a 5-year-old Golden Retriever who likes to pick out her own treats when her parents go shopping. She’s mostly friendly to the other shoppers, but “she has been known to cut line at the register.” Ah well, go ahead Mattie Belle.
