You can now buy Reese’s Cups with peanut butter on top instead of chocolate

We challenge you to think of a more iconic duo than peanut butter and chocolate. Reese’s has perfected the marriage of these two delicious flavors, but now the beloved candy brand is changing the game with its two latest offerings, which are a twist on the classic Reese’s Cup, featuring even more of whichever ingredient you love most.

For a limited time, Reese’s fans can buy both Reese’s Chocolate Lovers Cups and Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers Cups. The challenge will be to decide which is your favorite part of Reese’s cups: the peanut butter or the chocolate?

“For years, we’ve heard people debate their favorite part of a Reese’s Cup. Is it the chocolate or is it the peanut butter?” said Reese’s rep Natalie Perera in a March 25 press release. “So, we decided to settle the score and make both sides happy by giving them what they want: Reese’s Chocolate Lovers and Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers.”

What a delicious quandary! How can a person choose between two such tempting treats?

The Reese’s Chocolate Lovers Cups are a twist on the classic cup as they have a thicker chocolate shell and a richer amount of milk chocolate, making this their most chocolate-y Reese’s cup ever.

Meanwhile, the Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers Cups feature a peanut-buttery exterior that replaces part of the typical chocolate layer (although there is still plenty of chocolate left to love!).

So, which do you think will taste better? Reviewers say that the smoother, creamy texture of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers Cups are to die for, with a reporter from NBC’s “Today” saying, “The candy peanut butter shell is just different enough from the peanut butter filling to make you think, “Wow! These folks sure do know a thing or two about peanut butter.”

You can find the new Reese’s Lovers Cups in mid-April. They will be available in regular (1.5oz) and king sizes (2.8oz). Stock up on your favorite because these bad boys won’t be around forever.
