Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)
Where to travel: France, Japan
Aquarians are known for their friendliness, open-mindedness, curiosity, independence and intellectual nature. For those who most value their creativity, consider Japan a destination to explore. With its unique culture and a strong emphasis on art and design, it’ll be a worthwhile place to visit. Those looking to disconnect might consider France—specifically Paris, a romantic, yet historical, city where you can see some of the world’s greatest art at the Louvre.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20)
Where to travel: Ecuador, India
If you’re a Pisces, chances are you’re kind and affectionate. With that in mind, why not head to Ecuador? Known as one of the most emphatic countries in the world, according to Ampersand Travel, its diverse landscape and jungle terrain will have you feeling inspired and ready to take on your biggest goals of the year. Another special place to explore? Varanasi, India, which is known as Hinduism’s holiest of the seven sacred cities. If you’ve been feeling in need of spiritual renewal, this location might just be the answer to your woes.
Aries (March 21 to April 19)
Where to travel: Antarctica, The Netherlands
Aries should avoid the average getaways and instead go on an adventure of a lifetime. With personality traits that include being competitive and eager, you should book an Antarctic cruise or a trip to The Netherlands, which was recently discovered to be the most adventurous country in the world. I guarantee your Instagram followers would not be able to beat a selfie in Antarctica or Amsterdam!
Taurus (April 20 to May 20)
Where to travel: Canada, Spain
For us down-to-earth, strong and dependable Taureans, a trip north of the border might be in order. Since we are people who love nature—and enjoy saving money—Banff, Canada and its epic forests and beautiful ski resorts is a perfect choice. Or, if you prefer to go overseas, Ronda, Spain is a gorgeous, laid-back city with plenty to see.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20)
Where to travel: India, South Korea
Intellectual, witty and curious, Geminis will want to visit places that will expand their minds. It’s likely too late to make the Winter Olympics but South Korea is a perfect pick because its citizens have one of the highest average IQs in the world. For travelers who want a place full of bustle, Mumbai, India could be perfect. From famous beaches and tasty food and rich culture, it’s certainly a destination that will push you out of your comfort zone in the best ways possible.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22)
Where to travel: Italy, USA
For the compassionate, sensitive Cancers, Italy is where you need to be this year. Italians are known for being friendly and welcoming, so you’ll feel right at ease. Not to mention it’s home to unparalleled art and music that’ll have you swooning. Cancers don’t always like to be completely out of their comfort zones so a trip across the United States could be a perfect vacation without too much stress.

Leos are outgoing and fiery. As such, consider Australia for a big trip this year. Not only are Australians known for being extremely welcoming, it’s also a country full of wild adventures! Oslo, Norway, which is quiet enough to not unsettle you but big enough to keep you entertained. She Knows recommends it as a perfect city for Virgos.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)
Where to travel: The Netherlands, Switzerland
Gracious and fair-minded, Libras would likely love any trip that makes their traveling companions happy. But a trip to The Hague in The Netherlands would definitely appeal to their sense of justice. This beautiful city is home to the United Nations’ International Court of Justice. Switzerland is also a great choice because it’s been voted as the most fairly governed country in the world … plus it’s gorgeous!
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)
Where to travel: Denmark, Russia
Scorpios are known for being brave, truth-seeking individuals. So destinations with rich culture, lots of history and complicated politics are going to be excellent choices. Consider St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia for perfect examples of these types of destinations. Another solid spot? Denmark. The country’s reputation for shunning superficiality will resonate well with them.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)
Where to travel: Latvia, New Zealand
Eternal optimism is often associated with being a Sagittarius. If that sounds like you, Latvia might be a perfect destination. Not only did Huffington Post call it “Europe’s best kept secret,” its citizens are among the most optimistic in the world. If something more adventurous is on your radar, check out New Zealand! With its rugged beauty, rainforests and coastal adventures, there’s an endless amount of fun to be had, making it a great place for an idealistic, free-spirited Sagittarius.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)
Where to travel: China, Mexico
Capricorns are perhaps the most disciplined and intense people of all, so they could find kindred spirits in China, a nation that embodies those attributes. For Capricorns who don’t like flying too far, Mexico could also be a great destination. The country’s citizens are perhaps the hardest working people in the world and its beautiful beaches will give you just the relaxation you’ve been denying yourself at home.
