Sometimes, all you need is positive self-talk to get going. Alissa Diop was walking her 3-year-old son Ayaan to school when he uttered some affirmations that were wise beyond his years. Luckily, she captured the adorable boy on video as he proudly declared, “I am smart. I am blessed. I can do anything.”

Diop says she and her husband Alpha have worked hard to instill a strong sense of self-worth and confidence in their young son, and it sounds like it’s really paid off!

Diop posted the sweet video to Instagram back on Oct. 1, 2019, and it has since racked up more than 250,000 views. People just can’t get enough of this precocious child’s positivity!

Aww! If that doesn’t brighten your day, I don’t know what will.

“I taught Ayaan this positive affirmation on his 2nd birthday last year,” Diop wrote in the caption, “in hopes that he would one day memorize it, understand it and use it as a motivational tool whenever he needed it.”

She went to explain that Ayaan shocked her when he began repeating the affirmation on their way to school in the morning.

“He ended (with enthusiasm lol) once we made it to our destination,” she wrote. “So proud of the little boy he is growing into.”

People everywhere were enamored with the tot’s inspirational words.

“My heart!!! Omg this is such a great idea! god bless!” wrote Instagram user @a_gist_of_me in the comments.

Ayaan and his parents even got the opportunity to appear on “The Ellen Degeneres Show,” where the host surprised him with a slew of “Toy Story” merchandise. The family also received a $20,000 check from Shutterfly. Watch the clip from the episode on YouTube:

“We want to see happiness, we want to see positivity — and especially we want to start our young people off like this so that they have this belief,” DeGeneres said.

The next time you need a little pick-me-up, just remember little Ayaan’s words!
