All the cookie lovers out there (present company included) will be treated to Oreos inspired by that king of all outdoor summertime desserts. There will also be three other brand new Oreo flavors out by the time this summer is over. And, the best part? No ice cream maker required.
It joins other flavors that are also perfect for summer, including pistachio, lemon and coconut.
Perhaps even more perfect for summer, Baskin Robbins mint chocolate chip Oreos will be available in stores beginning in mid-July. The company partnered with the beloved ice cream chain to create the new cookie, so you know it’s going to be amazing.
The Oreos have both mint- and dark chocolate-flavored cremes with chocolate chips right inside. Yes, please!
Some people have been lucky enough to get their hands on them already, as seen in the Instagram post below from @junkbanter, which describes the cookies as boasting “both mint AND chocolate cremes studded with chocolate chips.”
Another new summer Oreo flavor is marshmallow moon, which will hit shelves in mid-June, just in time for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing on July 20.
The limited-edition marshmallow moon cookies have three moon-landing designs on the cookies and purple marshmallow creme inside.
As a bonus, the cookies come in glow-in-the-dark packaging with an anniversary sticker set. These will be a must-try for any of those future astronauts with a sweet tooth.
And if that’s still not enough for you, s’mores-flavored Oreos are also returning for the summer! They feature a graham-flavored cookie with marshmallow and chocolate-flavored creme.
Oh, and speaking of the moon landing, if you want even more space-themed treats, you may want to head to Dunkin.’ The chain is currently offering new Cosmic Coolatta drinks and a star-shaped doughnut with white icing and blue raspberry-flavored popping candy clusters in blue, purple and yellow.
Check out how delicious they look:
Once summer begins winding down in August, you’ll see a new fall flavor on shelves. Maple creme Oreos will have maple-flavored creme sandwiched between two golden Oreo cookies.
