If your home is in need of some minor upgrades, or you’re just looking to knock out some DIY projects over the long Labor Day weekend, head to Home Depot, where you’ll earn up to $40 in rebates when you buy paint in stores or online now through Sept. 5.

The mail-in rebates are only valid on select interior and exterior paints, so be sure to check if what you need is included. The offer includes a variety of paints from brands like Behr, Glidden, and more. You will get $10 back from each 1-gallon can of paint you purchase, or $40 back on each 3-5 gallon paint bucket.

To qualify for the rebate, simply purchase qualifying items by Sept. 5, then submit the appropriate rebate by Oct. 5. If you purchase your paint online, you will need to print and fill out the rebate form, then mail it in along with a copy of your original Home Depot receipt and the UPC number cut from the label on each can of paint purchased. If you’re shopping in-store, just head to Home Depot’s rebate center website and enter the information on your receipt.

In addition to the Labor Day rebates, Home Depot is also offering up to 40 percent off appliances, so if you’re looking to give your kitchen a makeover, now is the time.
