5 Places Where You Can Snag A Deal On Margs For National Margarita Day

Who doesn't love margaritas?!

I personally believe that everyday should be (and can be) Margarita Day, but the actual national holiday is on February 22. This holiday joins the ranks of many other pointless (but delicious) national holidays, such as Nutella Day, but you won’t hear me complaining come Feb. 22nd.

If you’re more than willing to celebrate this holiday, I don’t blame you one bit. There are a few restaurants that are going to help you celebrate, and cheaply, at that, so these places definitely need to be on your list of stops during your day of celebration.

Check out these five chain restaurants offering cheap margaritas. They’re sure to have you honoring National Margarita Day in the best way possible. And by that I mean with a margarita in each hand, of course.

1. Tony Roma’s

This restaurant’s classic margarita, the “Romarita,” drops from its regular $4 to $2.22 in honor of National Margarita Day. That seems like quite the bargain to me.

2. On The Border

According to Time, participating On The Border locations will be offering $2 margaritas to aid in your celebration efforts.

3. Chipotle

Select Chipotle locations offer margaritas at a bargain price, so why not make a special trip here on the big holiday. Come on, you know you want to.

4. Applebee’s

Applebee’s has happy hours (plural) not singular where margaritas go for $4. So, it seems like a great place to celebrate to me.

5. Ruby Tuesday’s

With $5 margaritas all day, every day, you might start enjoying drinks at Ruby Tuesday’s a little more often.

And just in case you’re more into celebrating this glorious holiday from your couch, here’s an excellent margarita recipe you can make up at home to help you do just that. I can’t think of a better way to end a Monday than lounging and watching Netflix with a pitcher of margaritas by my side.

The great thing about this recipe from Gimme Some Oven is how simple it is to make and how easy it is to multiply. It can easily be made for just a single serving or for an entire pitcher, depending on how much you’re looking to party.

Some tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice and agave for added sweetness, you’ve got a margarita, minus the restaurant.

So, no matter how you choose to celebrate this holiday, be sure to drink responsibly. But, be sure to have a margarita for me, too. Cheers!
