These 7 Aquarius Stereotypes Are More True Than You May Expect

While those with the Aquarius sign are seemingly unattached and unemotional, that’s not exactly the whole story. Those born between January 20 and February 18 are very rational people who like to do things their own way.

They allow their thinking skills rather than their emotions to make decisions, so they may not seem to be the most sharing or caring individuals on the surface, but deep down they really are.

This makes them very complex individuals, but they’re spontaneous and rebellious and great friends to have. Check out 7 stereotypes of the sign that are actually true to find out why you’re quite lucky to call an Aquarius a friend.

1. They’re Rational

They like to use analytics to rationalize situations, so you’ll never find them following instincts or emotions.

2. They Don’t Often Display Emotions

While they don’t like to be overly emotional on the outside, that isn’t to say they don’t still experience the same emotions as anyone else. They just happen to do it in a much more quite, internal way.

So, you’ll never see them break down in tears in while watching a movie, but that doesn’t mean that they weren’t touched by the scene in the same way as say, a Virgo like me, who’s weeping over it.

3. They’re Clever

Those with the Aquarius sign are used to using their heads to find a way around the rules so that they can do whatever they like. They prefer doing things their own way, and that often means they have to be quite clever to achieve their goals.

4. They’re Independent

An Aquarius likes to do things the way they think is best, so they prefer to be on their own, living life how they so choose. They’re not afraid of flying solo, and in fact, they might prefer it that way.

5. They’re A Loyal Friend

Because they prefer to be on their own, when they do create a bond with someone— it’s a strong one. They may not be around all of the time, but if you’re willing to follow them on a whim (like on a spontaneous lunch outing), you’ll have a great time with someone who really cares about you deep down.

6. They’re Rebellious

They’re not afraid to be the rebel in the group because that’s how they carve a niche for themselves so that they can do whatever they want. An Aquarius is a leader and not a follower.

7. They’re Eccentric

An Aquarius thinks differently than other people and do things differently. They’re unique, and if you’re friends with one of them, they’re likely considered to be the eccentric one of the group.

So, there you have it, folks. Just because an Aquarius may not be as forthcoming with their emotions as other signs doesn’t make them cold and aloof. They have their own way of doing things, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
