Get Ready For 7-Eleven’s Happy Hour: 50% Off Slurpees & Big Gulps

Summer afternoons just got a lot happier!

Good news, Slurpee fans: The concept of “happy hour” is no longer just about discounted house wine and half-off mozzarella sticks. Now 7-Eleven has a special happy hour all their own with deals on everyone’s favorite summertime cool treats — Big Gulps and Slurpees!

Now through July 31, you can get 50-percent off Slurpees and/or Big Gulps every day from 4-8 p.m.! All you need to do is download the 7-Eleven rewards app and you’ll find the offer under the “Deals” tab.

By downloading the app and joining the rewards program, you can also scan the app every time you purchase a drink and you’ll get every seventh one free.

Note: The happy hour offer is not valid in Florida and is limited to one Slurpee or Big Gulp per day, per registered 7-Eleven rewards member (through the app).

Sure, this isn’t the happy hour you might be used to, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it that way. The Daily Meal made an entire list of the best alcohol-and-Slurpee pairings so you can booze it up with your half-off drink.

Combinations include the famous rum and Coke, but also vodka and Fanta blue raspberry, tequila and watermelon-lime and whipped cream vodka with Fanta orange. Slurpee flavors currently listed on 7-Eleven’s website include Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries, wild cherry, Coca-Cola, piña colada and blue raspberry.

Looking for more happy hours? You’re in luck — this summer seems to be full of them! Coffee fans can sign up for Starbucks rewards and receive notifications anytime there’s a Starbucks happy hour event. Past deals have included buy-one-get-one frappuccinos, half off macchiatos and lattes and more.

You can also head on over to Walgreens (yes, Walgreens!) for the buy-one-get-one-free Coca-Colas offer, Wednesday to Friday from 4-7 p.m. until Aug. 31. You can find a link to the coupon on Walgreens’ website — just click where it says “Get Coupon.”
