8 Things You Never Knew You Could Make In A Crock-Pot

Slow cookers are basically the best inventions to ever be made. Who doesn’t love to throw some ingredients into one pot and then have dinner ready in just a few hours?

I know I definitely don’t mind letting my crock pot do all of the work for me! And if you thought this cooking method was only good for dinnertime foods— think again.

Here are 8 things you never knew you could make in your crock pot. Prepare to enter a whole new world where you can use just one pot for any meal. That’s right, recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert are coming your way!

1. Pizza

Your all-time favorite food (pizza, of course) can be made in a crock pot, believe it or not. Simply line the bottom of your slow cooker with the dough for the crust and add all of the pizza sauce, cheese and toppings that you want. In just a few hours you’ll have cheesy goodness at your disposal!

2. Pumpkin Spice Latte

Skip the line at Starbucks and get your PSL fix right from your kitchen. I like the sound of that!

3. Chocolate Nut Clusters

What could be better than toasted nuts and chocolate coming together into one treat? Umm, nothing. Make yourself a batch of these chocolate nut clusters, STAT!

4. Chex Mix

Using all of your favorite Chex mix ingredients (like pretzels, Chex cereal and peanuts) with a Worcestershire glaze, this sounds like the ultimate thing to bring to a party.

5. Brownies

So you can make brownies in a crock pot? Yes you can! So, now you know what you’re having for dessert tonight, right?

6. Loaded Baked Potato

Great for lunch or dinner, baked potatoes are such a delicious meal option. Good, and very little work. Sounds like my kind of meal.

7. Oatmeal

You’ve heard of overnight oats that have to sit in the refrigerator, but now you can make oatmeal that’s nice and toasty by leaving them in your slow cooker.

8. Cinnamon Pecan French Toast

French toast is good and all, but there’s quite a few steps involved in cooking it for breakfast. Oh wait, I take that back. This recipe for Cinnamon Pecan French Toast takes the hassle out of making this for breakfast (but keeps the deliciousness).

If you’re still reading this and not already halfway to the kitchen to get your crock pot out by now— what are you waiting for? Slow cook yourself some yumminess now! The hardest part will be deciding what to have. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert, maybe? The choice is yours!
