During a special event celebrating the 25th anniversary of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” Angela Lansbury sang the award-winning theme song from the film and brought the house down.

Accompanied by original composer, Alan Menken, Lansbury transported us back to that goose-bump inspiring dance between Belle and the Beast. And, as Mrs. Potts got them spinning, everyone cried.

At 90, Lansbury has pipes, serious pipes, and we can’t stop watching her simple and beautiful rendition. The performance brought the excited crowd to their feet with wild cheers.

As if we needed another reason to be talking about “Beauty and the Beast.” This spring, Disney will debut it’s live-action remake with Emma Thompson taking over Lansbury’s epic legacy as Mrs. Potts.
