A ‘Beauty and the Beast’-themed lounge just opened at Disney World—and it looks magical

Grown-up Disney fans have a brand new location to sit back, relax and enjoy a few drinks. The Enchanted Rose lounge at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is now open, and it brings the world of “Beauty and the Beast” to life in an elegant and sophisticated way.

Tucked onto the second floor of Walt Disney World’s flagship resort, the Enchanted Rose takes guests away from the hustle and bustle of the busy theme parks but still allows them to experience quintessential Disney magic. Enchanted Rose has four unique gathering spaces, and the decor is all inspired by the live-action version of “Beauty and the Beast.”

For example, guests will find a jaw-dropping chandelier modeled after Belle’s yellow ball gown over the bar.

The patio at the new lounge was inspired by the Beast’s garden terraces, and other rooms feature French furnishings and baroque designs, according to the Disney Parks blog.

After finding a place to rest those tired feet, guests can order from food from the lounge’s kitchen from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The appetizer-based menu has something for everyone, whether they are looking for seafood, a cheese platter, flatbreads and more. And because Disney just announced they were adding 400 plant-based options to their menus across their parks, we’re guessing there are some vegan options at the Enchanted Rose as well.

But taking a look at the new lounge’s menu, we’d be remiss if we didn’t point out these mini smoked short-rib sliders that blend together glacier blue cheese and onion marmalade with succulent short-rib, all tucked into a split-top bun.

If you’re looking for something a little fancier, try the white sturgeon caviar with egg timbale, crème fraîche and chives. A beauty of a dish if you ask us!

For something more savory, how about the crab and gnocchetti gratin? Dig into jumbo lump crab, gnocchetti Sardi, creamy robiola bosina cheese and citrus breadcrumbs.

And, what would a lounge be without drinks?

“Our tales of tableside cocktails are a contrast of each other. The Amour is an elegant vodka cocktail featuring notes of citrus, pear, and flowers with a slightly sweet taste, while characteristics of the apple brandy Envie showcase apples, herbs, and bitters with a potent taste,” master sommelier Brian Koziol said in a statement to Disney Parks blog.

The Enchanted Rose lounge has a selection of refreshing non-alcoholic drinks as well. These mocktails include the garden spritzer, which has an herbal distilled non-alcoholic spirit, lime, agave and soda; the B&B, a flavorful iced tea with lemon, blueberry and basil; and the rosemary cooler, a mix of lemonade, vanilla and rosemary.

See you! I’m packing my bags for another Disney World trip — and a trip to the Enchanted Rose while I’m there!
