Talk about classy. A high school senior in Utah made the Valentine’s Day dreams of 834 girls come true this week when he bought them all flowers.
According to ABC News, Hayden Godfrey, a 17-year-old senior at Sky View High School saved for six months so he could buy flowers for all the girls at his school. It cost him $450 to buy 900 carnations. He saved money the old fashioned way by working hard at various jobs including McDonald’s and bagging groceries.
Hayden’s mother told ABC News that he got the idea for this in middle school when he noticed some girls didn’t receive any Valentines from other kids and “he wanted every girl to feel joy.”
Talk about an amazing young person and a role model. Thanks Hayden for brightening our day!
