This New Alarm Clock Won’t Turn Off Until You Actually Get Out Of Bed

Ruggie

Who else has a problem with the snooze button?  If you do, then this new alarm clock is for you.  It’s called the Ruggie.  It’s a new Kickstarter project that aims at making alarm clocks more effective.

While it looks like a normal rug, it’s actually an alarm thats disguised as a rug. It has built in speakers and a sensor that only will turn off when you stand on it for three seconds.

Not only does the alarm clock help you get out of bed, but it will also deliver inspirational quotes to you in the morning. The Ruggie creator, Winson Tam, told The Huffington Post:

“Too many times I’ve over-snoozed. I know how it feels, it sucks. There is so much resistance in the morning, the warm comfy bed, the cold floors, that awesome dream we just had,” he said. “I created Ruggie to help myself and others get out of bed easier and be more productive.”

You can pre-order one now for $59.
