Food Network Star Duff Goldman Marries Girlfriend Johnna Colbry

On Saturday, Jan. 19, Food Network star Duff Goldman married his girlfriend of three years, writer Johnna Colbry, in an interfaith ceremony at the Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles. The pair got engaged in April 2018. At the time, Goldman said that the engagement was not planned, and in lieu of an actual engagement ring, he presented his fiancee with a piece of butcher’s twine.

“I didn’t plan this out, it just happened and it was so glaringly obvious that I couldn’t have stopped it if I wanted to,” Goldman wrote in the caption of his Instagram announcement. “I asked her to marry me. She said yes. I cannot imagine a state of happiness that is more intense than whatever I’m feeling right now. My heart just might burst. I love you muffin.”

The wedding ceremony in the museum’s tyrannosaurus rex room was attended by 250 of the couple’s friends and family members. The Christian ceremony was officiated by Colbry’s grandfather, and Goldman’s business partner officiated the Jewish ceremony.

As the owner of Charm City Cakes and the star of “Ace of Cakes,” Goldman’s wedding cake was highly anticipated, and the celebrity chef did not disappoint. The couple served a variety of cakes on their big day, and they were anything but traditional. One had a sea theme and was suspended from the ceiling while another was a beautiful replica of Johnna’s wedding gown.

They also served a savory cake with layers of meatball, lamb and schwarma with mashed potato “frosting.” Dinner included tacos, a baked potato bar and pizza. In addition to the unique setting of the museum, guests were treated to a petting zoo as part of the whimsical event.

On Jan. 21, Duff posted a selfie with his new bride in which the newlyweds are holding a cute handmade decoration that says “The Goldmans, est. 2019.”

Following their nuptials, the pair headed to Thailand on their honeymoon.
