Adam Levine And Behati Prinsloo Welcome Their Second Daughter
She has a totally unique name we've never heard before!
Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo are now the parents of not one, but two baby girls! The pop star and his model wife recently welcomed their latest bundle of joy, whom they named Geo Grace. Her date of birth is not yet known, according to People.com.
Geo joins one-year-old sister Dusty Rose, so the parents are clearly into the idea of keeping an Earthy theme when it comes to naming their girls.
Although the new parents actually have Ellen DeGeneres to thank for their first daughter’s super unique name. Apparently, Levine and his wife were having a hard time coming up with the perfect name, so he did what any of us would do — he asked DeGeneres for her opinion.
Levine told the story of how the name Dusty Rose came to be on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”:
“I think I have a great name, so I texted Ellen, and she’s like ‘I hate it,'” Levine recalled. “She gave me a list of about five names to think about … Dusty was in there. So, you basically named my kid.”
There’s no word yet on whether DeGeneres can take credit for little Geo Grace, but perhaps the parents had more of a handle on baby naming the second time around.
After giving birth to Dusty Rose in Sept. 2016, Prinsloo learned she was expecting again just one year later. The Victoria’s Secret model announced the pregnancy by posting a photo showing off her baby bump on Instagram with the caption, “Round 2”:
Prinsloo has admitted that after having two babies within two years, she’s ready for non-pregnant life. She wrote on Instagram, “Two babies in two years, I’m excited to see my toes again…”
But Levine has also been open about the couple’s enthusiasm for expanding their family even more.
“I want a lot [of kids],” he told DeGeneres. “I thrive in chaos. I really genuinely enjoy it.”
Considering his wife was an only child, she’s excited about having quite a few children, too. “She wants like 100 babies,” he told DeGeneres. “But I don’t know if I can do that.”
Two down, 98 more to go! Congratulations to the happy family!
