You Can Buy Pillows And Home Decor That Look A Lot Like Adam Levine’s Super Bowl Tank Top

If you watched Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show starring Maroon 5 and thought to yourself, “Hmm, Adam Levine‘s shirt reminds me of something,” you were not alone.

Many took to social media to report that they had a pillow, curtains, chair and other home decor items that looked just like it!

The intriguingly patterned tank top, which Levine stripped down to during his performance before going shirtless, is by Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten. (Levine opened the halftime show in a track jacket also by Van Noten.)

And there’s a reason why so many people own home items mirroring the top: The print was originally designed for decor and furniture.

That distinctive geometric pattern and other prints in Van Noten’s spring 2019 menswear collection are a collaboration with the estate of the late Danish designer Verner Panton, who was known for his striking use of color and shapes, and his futuristic midcentury creations.

“The prints of the collection are an homage to Verner Panton’s influential work,” the Dries Van Noten Instagram account posted when it debuted its spring 2019 menswear collection.

“How far can you push it? What is still acceptable? What is unacceptable?” Van Noten said in an interview on his website. “So we did some things that look a little bit like a curtain fabric.”

Van Noten also described some of the pieces in the Panton clothes collaboration as a “strange hybrid between sportswear and curtains.” Hello, Adam Levine tank top!

That exact top doesn’t seem to be for sale, but a similarly patterned suit by the designer costs $1,620. Or a pair of blue shorts in the same design can be yours for $490. A matching shirt is going for $1,035.

Too pricey for you? Or maybe you’d prefer to decorate your home and not your body in bold, earth-toned geometric prints? You’re in luck. There’s a $12.87 Walmart pillow that’ll do nicely.

Plus, Bed Bath & Beyond has some other suggestions for you, as shown by the company’s timely Facebook post: “Looking for home decor with that certain Adam Levine look? Get it at Bed Bath & Beyond!”

Would you pick this print for your clothes or home?
