Adele Is Back, And Better Than Ever With Her Hit Single, ‘Hello’

Adele hasn’t released a song in three years, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost her edge.

Released on October 23rd, her song, “Hello” smashed records with 1,112,000 downloads in a one week period. According to Billboard, her song slashes previous record holder, Flo Rida, and his “Right Round” song. In February 2009, his song accumulated 636,000 downloads in a one week period.

The song’s video has been making waves as well with over 61 million streams in a week. There is only one song that has outplayed Adele’s “Hello” – the “Harlem Shake” by Baauer, with 103 million streams in a one week period.

Perhaps one person that may not be thrilled by Adele’s success? Taylor Swift, as Adele’s video was the “second-fastest video to reach 100 million views on YouTube and broke Taylor Swift’s record for single day views on Vevo,” reports Entertainment Weekly.

With chart toppers like, “Set Fire to the Rain,” “Someone Like You,” and “Rolling in the Deep,”  her third album, 25, will most surely be another hit. Will you buy Adele’s third album, 25, when it’s released on November 20th?
