Disney movie fans are going to love 2019. Thanks to a deal between Netflix and Disney (which also owns Marvel and Star Wars franchises) — a deal that runs through 2019 — any die-hard Disney film fanatics will have a wealth of entertainment to binge watch this year.

The films featured on this list include classic movies all the way up to 2018 releases. So get out your calendars and start setting some must-watch movie marathon dates!

2018 Disney Releases Coming To Netflix

Netflix officially released its list of the most-recent Disney releases coming to its streaming platform in 2019. Here they are in chronological order:

“Solo: A Star Wars Story” — Confirmed release date: January 9, 2019

Sadly, this will be the final “Star Wars” movie to hit Netflix before the media deal ends in December. This prequel to the original trilogy shares a bit of the origin story of the iconic Han Solo character before he got to know Luke, Princess Leia and the rest of the “Star Wars” universe.

“Ant-Man and The Wasp” — Confirmed release date: January 29, 2019

“Ant-Man and the Wasp” will be the final Marvel movie coming to Netflix as part of the blockbuster deal between Disney and Netflix.

Our favorite superhero family hits Netflix at the end of January and we can’t wait! The story picks right up from the first movie, but this time Elastigirl takes center stage in the crime-fighting world.
