Got A Sunburn? You’ll Want To Try These Aloe Ice Cubes

Earth's Daughter

By now everyone knows the importance of sunblock. This doesn’t mean, however, that you will never see another sunburn in your house. Maybe you missed a spot or perhaps you stayed out a little longer than your sunblock could protect you. On the off-chance you suffer a sunburn this summer, make sure you have these simple cubes on hand to get you that relief you need and fast.

All you need is a clean ice cube tray, some aloe vera gel and about a minute of your time. Here are the instructions from Earth’s Daughter.

1. Fill each cube of the tray with aloe until it’s about three quarters of the way full.

2. Pop the tray in the freezer.

3. Apply when needed.

It really is that simple!

The cold aloe will reduce your skin’s inflammation, bringing relief the moment it touches your searing skin. Even better, the aloe can help to stimulate new cell growth helping you to heal even faster. That’s a win-win in my book.

Note: If you have a severe burn, you should seek medical attention and be sure to ask your doctor before applying these to your skin.
