Amazon To Launch An Online Education Portal For Teachers

Amazon Inspire

Good news for teachers out there: Amazon recently announced that they will be launching Amazon Inspire, a place for educators to upload and download educational content such as lesson plans and worksheets.

The interface will be similar to the regular Amazon shopping experience, with one exception: everything will be free. To streamline the process, educators will be able to search for content by grade and subject.  Users will even be able to review and provide feedback on the online content.

Amazon Inspire will provide digital education access to anyone regardless of their location, opening up access to tools for all teachers. In addition to working with teachers, the website also calls for collaboration with states, districts, schools, and other creators of educational resources.

The online marketplace currently in beta, and it is set to launch late August or early September, but is now accepting registrations.
