American Girl just released a new trio of royal dolls from the beloved Disney princess universe featuring Ariel, Cinderella and Tiana. The newest American Girl Disney Princess dolls join Belle, Jasmine and Rapunzel who kicked off the special collection last year.
The popularity of the first Disney Princess collector dolls persuaded American Girl to design a second round for fans who can’t get enough of these beautiful recreations of iconic characters.
“Fandom for American Girl and Disney runs deep, and a collaboration has long been asked for by our mutual fans,” says Jamie Cygielman, General Manager of American Girl in a press release. “Now, we’re making dreams come true with a magical collection of timeless characters that will captivate our fans and send their imaginations soaring.”
Fans can buy any of the three new American Girl Disney Princess dolls for $125 each at American Girl retail stores nationwide or at the official American Girl website.

Ariel
Journey back “under the sea” with this 18-in. doll that loving recreates the original, animated Ariel from the 1989 version of “The Little Mermaid.” She comes with a sparkly mermaid-style dress in her signature green and purple colors. Ariel also has a pair of open-toe kitten shoes, a necklace with a seashell pendant and an undergarment.
Cinderella
She’s the princess who has her own castle at Walt Disney World and millions of adoring fans. This 18-in. doll comes with everything a fan wants for Cinderella: the classic blue dress, rhinestone earrings, white gloves, the headband, choker necklace and, of course, her magical “glass slippers.”
Tiana
This daring princess is about to have a new “Princess and the Frog attraction open at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom later this year! But first, Tiana makes her royal debut with American Girl and looks fantastic in her green and yellow gown inspired by her beloved bayou. The 18-in. tall doll has a petal crown, long gloves, a gold-metal chain with green stones and open-toed green shoes to complete her look.
