Tyra Banks hits golden buzzer for high-flying dancers on ‘America’s Got Talent’
It didn’t take long for an act to soar to unbelievable heights in the new season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” One group’s performance on this week’s premiere left the judges breathless with their dance moves and aerial acrobatics.
Zurcaroh is a dance and acrobatic group from Austria that boasts 58 members ranging in age from 6 to 48 years old. With a routine that had intense music, perfectly synchronized dance moves and stunts that left the audience gasping and probably biting their nails, Zurcaroh launched themselves into the stratosphere.
Host Tyra Banks thought the performance was so awesome that she rushed onto the stage and pressed the golden buzzer, which sends an act directly through to the live shows, allowing them to bypass another round of performing.

Banks couldn’t contain her excitement following the performance and actually interrupted the judges just as they were going to vote.
“Hold up! Hold up!” she said as she hit the stage. “I am collecting my breath and I just, I need some oxygen right now! I’m, like, freaking out right now. This is so crazy that you know what I have to do!”
And, bam! Banks slammed her hand down on the golden buzzer and the glittering confetti rained down on the sobbing dance troupe. Each judge and the host are able to use the golden buzzer only once per season.
The members of Zurcaroh took a moment to thank the “AGT” host following the show.

According to the group’s official website, Zurcaroh was founded in 2009 through a love for children and a desire to engage with poor communities in Brazil:
“As a social project, Zurcharo wants to perform in different poor communities in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in order to inspire and motivate youngsters through dance, sports and art.”

Good luck to them on the show! As always, the winner of “AGT” gets a $1 million prize and a slot headlining a show in Las Vegas.
