Anna Faris shares marriage advice after her split from Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have always been one of the internet’s favorite couples. So, when Faris took her to Instagram page to reveal that she and Pratt were separating, fans were devastated.

Here’s what Faris posted on Instagram on Aug. 6, when she first announced the split:

For his part, Pratt posted a personal message on his Facebook page, mentioning that the pair will always love each other and work hard to be good co-parents for their 4-year-old son, Jack.

And, now, Faris has also openly talked about her separation on a episode of her podcast, Unqualified. In giving guidance to a young woman seeking relationship advice, Faris had this to say:

I made that mistake, I think, a little bit feeling like, “I’m checking my relationship off the list.” The final advice I could give you would be know your worth, know your independence, know that you’re young, and there’s so many people out there. There’s so much life experience. I hope you get to live it all and experience a whole lot of people. Life is too short for you to be in relationships where you’re not feeling like this isn’t fully right, or somebody doesn’t have your back or somebody doesn’t value you in every way.

Interesting. Faris’ words have caused some speculation among listeners, as there have been rumors that Pratt’s skyrocketing fame caused tension and jealousy in their marriage.

Ironically, this would not be the first time that fame got in the way of Faris’ relationship. She has also been frank about the demise of her first marriage, saying that her quick rise to fame complicated her relationship with ex-husband actor Ben Indra. She became a household name, while he struggled to find work.

“That kind of destroyed my marriage,” Faris told Daily Mail back in 2011.

While it’s unclear exactly what caused Faris and Pratt to call it quits, one thing is for sure: They are both committed to being kind to one another and raising Jack in a cooperative and loving way. So, even if their marriage is over, we can still say they are giving us #relationshipgoals, right?
