Anne Hathaway Buys Gorgeous Colonial Home In Connecticut
Get the U-Haul ready! Oscar winner Anne Hathaway just bought a gorgeous new home in Connecticut with her husband Adam Shulman.
The parents to 1-year-old son Jonathan purchased an oceanside estate in Westport, Connecticut, a wealthy suburb located about one hour outside of New York City.
The pair also own a $2.55 million penthouse on the Upper West Side of Manhattan—though it’s unclear if they’ll sell it now that they’ve purchased this home. The Connecticut estate is called CompoBello and had been on the market for over a year.
Hathaway’s new crib in Westport is located at the end of a quaint cobblestone driveway and is just steps from Compo Beach, the town’s main beach along Long Island Sound.
The two-story 1920s Colonial home has all the modern updates but keeps its historic charm through touches like a large stone fireplace.
The first floor has not one, but two, custom-built kitchens, as well as a family room. The backyard boasts lush gardens, a pool and a cabana/barn. How amazing does this house sound?
On the second floor, there are two wings featuring five bedrooms, which should be plenty for their family, should they decide to have more little ones.
CompoBello sounds wonderful. Congratulations on your new home, Anne!
