Tammy Joyner

Tammy Joyner is an Atlanta-based freelance journalist whose work has appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, Glamour Magazine and Delta Sky Magazine. She previously worked for newspapers in Charlotte, N.C., Detroit, Mich. and Atlanta. She writes about the workplace, social justice, current events, pop culture, genealogy, and business news. She and her significant other David Franklin are parents to two sons, Adrien, 28, and Brandon, 23.
