Everyone loves avocados. Creamy, good-for-you, visually pleasing and delicious… and now starring in (***drum roll, please***) their very own Starbucks Frappuccino!
That’s right, everybody — adding to a long line of Instagram-worthy Frapps, please welcome the Avocado Frappuccino (also called the Avocado Blended). While people have been making avocado smoothies and treats for sometime now, the Avocado Blended is special in that it actually looks like an avocado!
As you can see from Instagram pics of this unique beverage, there’s the dark green circle around the edge of the drink representing the peel. Then you see a pit! No, it’s not a real pit, obviously, but rather a chocolate ball.

How perfectly does it resemble a half-cut ‘cado?

You’re ready to walk to the nearest Starbucks and buy one, right? Well, here’s the catch: The Avocado Blended is a seasonal item only found in South Korea, at least currently.
South Korea has been making us jealous with this inventive coffee creation since 2015, when Starbucks first introduced the avocado beverage there. Thanks to its popularity, Starbucks Korea re-released the Avocado Blended on June 26.

In addition to this delightfully hip and refreshing Frapp, Starbucks Korea has also announced the release of the cool pineapple Starbucks Fizzio. Basically, it’s a fizzy pineapple beverage.

While it’s a bummer that we can’t get these drinks in the United States, maybe it’s a blessing in disguise — Frapps are expensive enough without adding the prized avocado to the mix!
For anyone looking to fill the avocado void, why not try out a few of these sweet recipes?
