Ayesha and Stephen Curry welcome baby no. 3

It’s a boy for Ayesha and Stephen Curry! The Food Network star shared the news on Instagram that she and her NBA-player husband welcomed a son to their family on July 2.

“My heart is FULL. God has been too good to us. Our beautiful baby boy Canon W. Jack Curry 7/2/2018,” she wrote along with a photo of their other children holding the baby. “He joined us earlier than we thought and we couldn’t be more excited and grateful.”

The newest addition is baby number three for the couple, who already have two girls, 5-year-old Riley and 2-year-old Ryan. Steph also shared a photo of his new son, writing, “On this journey, on this quest… protect me… I’m bless! Canon W. Jack Curry.”

Ayesha shared news of her pregnancy on Instagram in February, saying she was feeling blessed, but also “very sick.” By the time she hit the six-month mark, she said she was finally feeling better and could “eat and cook a little bit again,” adding that she had already stayed in the hospital five times since the start of the year.

Steph and Ayesha Curry met as teenagers in their church youth group in North Carolina, but didn’t start dating until years later, when she was acting and modeling and he was beginning his basketball career. He now plays for the Golden State Warriors — with whom he won his third NBA championship this year — and she has her own show on Food Network called “Ayesha’s Home Kitchen.”

They have been married since 2011.
