Royal baby Archie is on his first official royal tour in South Africa with his parents, and the adorable infant made quite the impression when he accompanied them to meet Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter Thandeka in Cape Town.

Archie smiled and giggled while held by mom Meghan Markle. Photos of the meeting were shared on the official Instagram account for the duke and duchess of Sussex, and they’re so sweet!

This video shared on Instagram shows Archie enjoying her first public appearance:

“‘Thank you Archbishop Tutu for your incredibly warm hospitality, Archie loved meeting you!’ – The Duke and Duchess #RoyalVisitSouthAfrica,” read the caption.

“Arch meets Archie!” read the caption. “This morning The Duke and Duchess were honoured to introduce their son Archie, to Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Thandeka. The Archbishop, a globally respected figure in the anti-apartheid movement, is one of the world’s great champions of equality and has spent his life tirelessly battling injustice.”

At just under five months old, Archie is already traveling the world and meeting with global thought leaders. And charming them!

“The Royal Highnesses have joined The Archbishop and Thankdeka to learn more about the work of The Tutu and Leah Legacy Foundation, and see first-hand how they are focusing on global awareness of the critical issues facing the world. #RoyalVisitSouthAfrica,” the caption continued.

“We are enormously grateful to welcome the Duke and Duchess to our magnificent space, and for their love and respect for the Arch,” Niclas Kjellstrom-Matseke, chair of the Tutu and Leah Legacy Foundation, told Fox News.

Archbishop Tutu gifted Archie with a book he wrote, “Desmond and The Very Mean Word,” which is an illustrated children’s book that uses a story from Tutu’s own childhood to teach about the importance of compassion.

The Sussexes are on a 10-day visit to South Africa, and the meeting with Archbishop Tutu marked Baby Archie’s first public appearance since his birth in May. We’d only seen one other photo of the newest addition to the British royal family, when a picture of Archie went up on the family’s Instagram for Father’s Day, in June.

Baby Archie really stole the show with all of those smiles! We have a feeling he’ll keep delighting everyone he meets.
