Mom poses toddler to spoof her brother’s modeling photos

Meet Aristotle Polites and his nephew Augie Behm, the dashing duo facing off every week on Instagram. Polites is a professional model and quite possibly the hunkiest uncle since Uncle Jesse. Yet, his pint-size protege, Augie, is already giving him a run for his money at a mere 18 months old.

Katina Behm, Augie’s mom and Polites’ older sister, thinks her younger brother’s modeling shots are hilarious (as does the rest of the family). So Behm decided to poke a little good-natured fun at her brother by recreating his photos with her toddler. She shares them on the Instagram account babyandthebody, which means we all get to enjoy her clever project.

It all started when Behm snapped a photo of her toddler getting dressed.

“The image of him with the shirt undone and his bare chest exposed made me laugh because he looked like he belonged on the cover of a romance novel,” she told Huffington Post. “I took a picture and then realized I bet my brother Aris has a picture just like this on his Instagram page which is filled with modeling photos.”

Indeed, he did, and Behm found hundreds more images of Polites to use as inspiration for spoof shots of her toddler. Then, she staged photo shoots of her son in matching outfits and poses and shared the silly side-by-side shots with family. They loved them and encouraged her to post them online.
