You Can Hang Out With A Dozen Corgis At This Cafe

Facebook/ Corgi in the Garden

Corgis are hands-down one of the cutest dog breeds around. Between their stubby legs, a body that looks like a living loaf of bread and their beloved peach-shaped butts, we simply can not get enough of these cute pups. Famously cuddly and known for both their trainability and smarts, corgi-mania can be witnessed all around the world.

And it’s not hard to see why. Seriously, just look at how irresistible and adorable these little pooches are:

You’ve probably heard of Tokyo’s insanely Instagramable cat, bunny and owl cafes, where patrons can sip on beverages while being surrounded by their favorite animals. However, you may have not heard of Bankok’s latest animal-centric spot.

Get ready for Corgi in the Garden, a cafe where 12 corgis are ready and waiting to greet coffee-sipping guests with all the love they have to offer.

Who wouldn’t love to be welcomed by this pack?

Cafe owner Tanchanok Kanawaong came up with the idea of a corgi cafe after two of her corgis had a surprise litter of puppies.

Making note of their short, stubby looks and their “laughable characteristics,” she explained to the New York Post that she “just wanted to share the love and happiness. Two of my dogs had seven puppies … and the number grew, so we wanted to spread the joy with others.”

The cafe is home to a dozen of furballs with names like Dean, Quinn, Porkchop, Pumpkin, Salmon, Bean, Bone, Babycorn, Blossom, Bluebell, Barley, Buttercup and Marmalade. Guests pay around $11 for one-hour sessions with the adorable pack.

At the cafe, the beverage menu includes matcha lattes and more, in addition to coffee, espresso and the like. Though if we’re being honest, the real pull is obviously the dogs. They are even professionally trained to perform tricks like handshaking!

Dog-lovers clearly cannot get enough of this cafe — and for good reason. Customers are allowed to frolic, cuddle and shake hands with all the corgis as much as they want. Isn’t that basically the dream of any true dog person?

And it’s not like customers are the only ones having a good time. The corgis seem to seriously love soaking up the attention, as you can tell from the photos below:

Corgi in the Garden is a first-come, first-served cafe that’s clearly not going to lose its popularity any time soon. But it’s probably worth standing in line or waiting for a table just to get some face time with these pups:
