The world’s eyes are firmly on Gianna Floyd, the 6-year-old daughter of George Floyd, a Black man who was killed by a white police officer in Minneapolis on May 25. The little girl recently joined Instagram, and she already has tens of thousands of followers — though she only follows 25 people, including Jamie Foxx, Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, Michelle Obama and Barbra Streisand.

We’re guessing that 78-year-old Streisand is a favorite right now, as she sent Gianna a very special gift package that included stock certificates for Disney in Gigi’s name. The young girl reached out to the multi-award-winning singer, composer, actress and director on her fledgling Instagram account to thank her.

“Thank You @barbrastreisand for my package, I am now a Disney Stockholder thanks to you,” Gianna wrote next to a series of smiling photographs.

One photo showed Gianna admiring her new Disney stock portfolio in a red folder and another featured two other Streisand gifts: the 1965 album “My Name is Barbra” and the 1966 release “Color Me Barbra.”

Since her father’s murder, Gianna has posted several emotional Instagram posts, including one that stated, “Stop Killing Our Fathers.”

To date, an official GoFundMe account for Gianna has raised more than $2.1 million. It’s managed by Tiffany Lee of Stewart Trial Attorneys on behalf of Gianna’s mother, Roxie Washington.

“Because of her father’s tragic murder due to police brutality, Gianna will now go through life without her dad. In addition, their family has lost their provider, and will no doubt suffer financial hardship after this tragic loss,” Lee wrote on the page. “As a community, we want to come together in this time of need and assist Gianna’s mother, Roxie Washington, by donating whatever we can to help provide mental and grief counseling for George Floyd’s youngest child, lodging and travel for all court proceedings, and to assist Roxie (Gianna’s mother) in providing for their child’s continued well-being and education.”

Gianna also took to Instagram to thank Kanye West for giving her a college education — he established a 529 education plan to fully cover college tuition for her. After West’s announcement, Texas Southern University offered her a full scholarship as well.
