A ‘Beauty And The Beast’ Bar is coming to Disney World—And it looks enchanting

Disney Parks Blog

Disney World is about to get even more enchanted. Disney announced that their Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is going to be home to a new “Beauty and the Beast”- themed bar.

Does this mean we can enjoy a martini made by Lumiere or Cogsworth?

The new bar will take the place of Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s, and it will include four separate themed spaces, including a signature bar that features a breathtaking chandelier that was created with Princess Belle’s famous golden yellow ballgown in mind.

The rest of the bar will be built around locations found in “Beauty and the Beast,” such as the Beast’s outdoor patio garden, and of course his impressive library that had bookworms everywhere drooling. The final bar setting was inspired by the enchanted forest outside the Beast’s castle, so let’s just hope the terrifying wolves won’t be serving up your drinks.

The news about the “Beauty and the Beast” bar comes from the Disney Parks blog. “The enchanting lounge will celebrate the magic and romance of the popular Disney live-action movie,” said Jeremy Schoolfield of Disney World Resort public relations. “With charm and elegance to be found around every turn, this quaint bar and lounge will be the place where you can put our service to the test and share a tale as old as time.”

The new “Beauty and the Beast” bar is set to open in fall 2019, so get your drink orders ready. While at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you can also check out the new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location, which will open this summer. Featuring makeovers by Fairy Godmothers-in-Training, your little ones can choose from nail, hair and other glam services.

While adults can’t get dolled up the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (you have to be under 12 years old), you can enjoy adult privileges at the Beauty and the Beast Far after a long day at the Magic Kingdom.

So, bottoms up … but no word on whether Mrs. Potts will be willing to make you a pot of tea when you wake up a little worse-for-the-wear in the a.m.
